Some new colour block combos were added to the panel caps this week. If you've been here before, you'll know that at the capalog you can order a panel cap made in your headsize, and in a custom colour combo of your choice.
There are also a lot of colour combos listed on the website as well, listed with Numbers and textile images, partly to act as suggestions and an inspiration section, or just as options to order from as well.
There are an infinite number of colour combo possibilities essentially and these are all my suggestions of possibilities and also just an excuse to be a colour combo geek.
Also as a slow fashion biz I do NOT want to create the textile waste in making endless samples, which is the norm in the fashion industry, as it just goes against any sustainability principles AND well doing it this way allows me to show even MORE possibilities as well, it opens up the ability to offer a colour combo for everyone. Cos let's be honest we all like different colours out there and this allows for a lot more self expression, you do you.
As all the caps are made to order in weekly batches, this isn't a big deal, to make it in the colour of your choice. Find the colour combo that works for you, order it in the right size for you too, out of the 12 sizes available.
One of my personal faves - No.42: Dark green, Sage, Grey & Charcoal.
These are all five panel caps, with a short peak and all made in the same style and shape as the five panel caps under monochrome panel caps, corduroy panel caps, palm panel caps and the other colour block panel caps. So there' s a lot of photos on the website of actual caps, for you to get an idea of what shape your cap will be and also of the standard of sewing and what it will look like in real life.
Don't forget to check instagram though, for examples of these when they are ordered, as I often post pictures of these once made up.
